Bushwacky

The Bushwacky is a repto-insectoid monster of Caeruleum

They have no forelimbs but run on two hind limbs and possess an extra clawed talon on their tails. These multi-eyed creatures are awkward runners, more using their legs to leap out of the beach sand and surprise their prey. An odd tuft of hair on their heads resembling sea grass is used as camouflage when they bury themselves in the sand and lie in wait for their prey with only their hair and nostrils sticking out. Typically, they coordinate their attacks with other bushwacky, using tremorsense to note when their victims are in the killbox.

Tidal goblins are fond of taming bushwackys and using them as guard beasts.
