Nellson Williams

Tiefling Artificer

Nellson Williams, more commonly called Nells, is a red Tiefling Artificer with a gorilla steel defender named Cupcake. He entered the adventure after being ejected from a wyldstorm portal in Obscurus’ magical LIBRARY.

He possesses a mechanical arm that can be used as a crossbow and a blade.

Nells and his steel defender Cupcake were ejected from a wyldstorm portal that resulted from a tortle magic user’s post mortem spell in Obscurus’ magical LIBRARY. Eondul the Human Wizard, Lightfingers the Elf Rogue, Nikolas the brass Dragonborn Fighter, and Pigsnot the Elf Fighter were also ejected from the wyldstorm portal. Like his fellow portal travelers,  he had no memory of where he’d been previously, but was certain he was now in the wrong body!

They opted to join the party of Acindor the Human Fighter, Nathan Garney the Cleric of Everly, Kudac the Half-Orc Cleric of Baldnoggin, Meldor Ironforge the Dwarf Wizard, Dumplin Ages the Halfling Barbarian and Shelby the Rakshasa Sorcerer.

The goddess Canon then appeared and charged them with opening the Water Portal on CAERULEUM and transported them to the TEMPLE OF WANJO.

During an altercation between Shelby and Davroar Hollyshield the Cleric of Moriarty, Lightfingers opened an accursed book resulting in an ominous-sounding gong.

Nellson and his comrades were immediately forced to combat an army of ghouls in a running battle through the TEMPLE OF WANJO. Escaping the undead, they scouted out the WAR’TODE ENCAMPMANT which guarded CAERULEUM’s WATER PORTAL to FARRAGO. As part of a bold plan to reach the and activate the Portal, Kudac, Nikolas, Nellson and Cupcake made their way through the WAR’TODE ENCAMPMENT, hoping to free the War’todes’ prisoners, including a young dragon. To further confuse and occupy their enemies, Eondul unleashed the undead on the WAR’TODE ENCAMPMENT, allowing a zombie t-rex and zombie ogre onto the battlefield.

After Snizzle the Cleric of Kroakatoa and his froghemoth arrived shortly after Davroar Hollysword cast the Glory of Moriarty, sending the battle into further chaos, he and the others realized their only chance of survival was to make it to the Portal that Dumplin had successfully opened.

After successfully making his exit through the Water Portal from FARRAGO to CAERULEUM, he sent Cupcake back across to fetch the star sapphire, hoping to close the Portal behind them. Unfortunately, once placed, the gem could only be activated by the will of a god. As a result of his attempt, Cupcake exploded!

Nellson Williams was so traumatized by the loss of his steel defender and events that befell him in the TEMPLE OF WANJO and the WAR’TODE ENCAMPMENT that he decided adventuring wasn’t for him. He bid farewell to the party at PORTAL BEACH HARBOR and made his own way.
