Dragonborn Fighter

Nikolas is a brass Dragonborn fighter who entered the adventure after being ejected from a wyldstorm portal in Obscurus’ magical LIBRARY.

(Session #36, 39-46)

Nikolas was ejected from a wyldstorm portal that resulted from a tortle magic user’s post mortem spell in Obscurus’ magical LIBRARY. Eondul the Human Wizard, Lightfingers the Elf Rogue, Nellson Williams the red Tiefling Artificer and his gorilla steel defender Cupcake, and Pigsnot the Elf Fighter were also ejected from the wyldstorm portal. Like his fellow portal travelers,  he had no memory of where he’d been previously, but was certain he was now in the wrong body!

They opted to join the party of Acindor the Human Fighter, Nathan Garney the Cleric of Everly, Kudac the Half-Orc Cleric of Baldnoggin, Meldor Ironforge the Dwarf Wizard, Dumplin Ages the Halfling Barbarian and Shelby the Rakshasa Sorcerer.

The goddess Canon then appeared and charged them with opening the Water Portal on CAERULEUM and transported them to the TEMPLE OF WANJO. He went exploring by himself while the others were resting after hearing unearthly draconic voices begging for aid.

After scouting out the WAR’TODE ENCAMPMANT which guarded CAERULEUM’s WATER PORTAL to FARRAGO, he decided the voices were telling him to free a dragon imprisoned in the War’tode cages. Kudac, Nikolas, Nellson and Cupcake made their way through the WAR’TODE ENCAMPMENT, hoping to free the War’todes’ prisoners, including the young dragon. To further confuse and occupy their enemies, Eondul unleashed the undead on the WAR’TODE ENCAMPMENT, allowing a zombie t-rex and zombie ogre onto the battlefield.

After Snizzle the Cleric of Kroakatoa and his froghemoth arrived shortly after Davroar Hollysword cast the Glory of Moriarty, sending the battle into further chaos, he and the others realized their only chance of survival was to make it to the Portal that Dumplin had successfully opened.

Enroute to the Portal, he was magically transported via a magical error to the belt cage of Bel Do’riehn the the Betrayer, half-goblin former Sister of Shettebrek, who brought him and others she’d captured through the Portal. After she’d scolded all of the adventurers for opening the Portal and kickstarting the Prophecy of the Starkiller, she departed.

After a brief rest in the SERVICE PORTAL CHAMBER, Nikolas and the others trekked to PORTAL BEACH HARBOR where they took passage aboard the …. As luck would have it, the vessel they chose was in possession of mimics stolen from the Farrago Royal Marines. After a brief pursuit, they escaped and landed on CLAW ISLAND, where they were immediately escorted to ROSE COLISEUM.

Gilgamesh made note of their lateness and tossed them into a game of Capture the Flag, splitting the party into two opposing teams. Under the leadership of Avindr Drakeel the Air Genasi Sorcerer, Nikolas’ team won.
