Katnip Everdeen [Sessions #2-3, 5-6]

As Katnip, she awoke with Dishrag the Elf Cleric of WanjoBelwyn Darkhand the Halfling Fighter, Eondul the Human Wizard, and Bhardor Silvertongue the Dwarf Bard in the PIT OF THE DYING. Katnip hid amongst the bodies at the appearance of Snizzle, Cleric of Kroakatoa, but snuck out when Snizzle let them go in return for agreeing to slay a dragon for him. Snizzle inexplicably closed the portcullis behind them before Eondul and Belwyn could leave. It’s possible this was because he did in fact notice Katnip and was trying to prevent her from sneaking away without making a deal.

Bhardor, Dishrag and Katnip eventually made their way through caverns infested with War’todes, but Katnip got lost in the MUSHROOM FOREST CAVERN, after a surprise encounter with a violet fungus.

She eventually found her way to the WART’ODE ENCAMPMENT. Working her way stealthily among the shadows along the cavern wall, she found another tunnel to the north. Taking it, she eventually found her way to a tunnel dug into the back of the LIBRARY STORAGE ROOM. After being chased through the LIBRARY by an Ipsimus sentry, she came to the EXAMINATION ROOM, where Weddumlir Aleshield née Dishrag the Brave and Bofril Greybender née Bhardor Silvertongue were just waking up on stone slabs.

After convincing Katnip that they were her former comrades, the party took the south exit from the room. Katnip was sorely injured in the HALL OF POISON DARTS, first by pit fall damage and then as she was targeted by overwhelming forces from the adjacent WART’ODE ENCAMPMENT in a fierce bottleneck skirmish.

Ultimately, they retreated and found themselves in the LIBRARY. Seeing a Star Sapphire, she attempted to steal it. As a result, the Ipsimus guarding it killed both her and Bofril.

Katnip and Bofril found themselves in the REALM OF B.O.B. The God of Death granted them new husks, but, ironically enough, demanded they procure him a Star Sapphire within a tenday in return.

Thril Wolfsbane [Sessions #7-8, 11-29]

Awakening in their new husks in the ROOM OF EIGHT, they were reunited with Weddumlir; however, the TEMPLE OF WANJO’s magical maze spit them out back into the EXAMINATION ROOM, where they were captured by Wart’odes.

When something was discovered amiss in the TEMPLE PRISON, he and the other Wart’ode prisoners were sent ahead to investigate.

Thril was one of the party who vanished after the gods interrupted their quest with visions. By the will of B.O.B., he awoke with Acindor and Weddumlir in what turned out to be the KITCHEN of SMUGGLER SPEAK. Their exploration was cut short when they encountered the Corrupted in the DINING HALL. Even though other adventurers in SMUGGLER SPEAK came to their aid, Thril was transformed into a Corrupted and was slain in his new form; however, he was returned to the party as a ghost by the goddess Oxenbane.

Oxenbane set them upon a quest to end the corruption of SMUGGLER  SPEAK and locate the husks of Thril and Zayn Carthin the Arbiter of Hero to reunite them with their spirits.

Finding their way to the SANCTUARY OF EVERLY, they encountered and fought a Corrupted Basilisk. Thril proved a capable adversary against the abomination in his ghost form. Afterward, they discovered a Cuervos who identified himself as Nobody. Interrogations of the creature were cut short when Acindor took Nobody’s hat, which turned out to be a Mimic Familiar. A brief skirmish led to the creature forming itself into a brane, an organic portal to the Cuervos’ SOUL SIEVE. The Cuervos within defended their domain savagely.

During the battle, a Cuervan cleric successfully turned Thril into a form of ghost which can neither fly nor go incorporeal. When Acindor died near the portal to the Realm of Lost Things, Thril felt the strong disapproval of B.O.B. and felt himself being drawn toward the portal; however, the intervention of Hero Inc saved him from whatever fate B.O.B. had in store for him.

Weddumlir also died during the fight for the CHAMBER OF CORRUPTION but was reborn as a Shield Knight of Baldnoggin. The arrival of a reinvigorated Wedd and Nathan Garney, Cleric of Everly, allowed them to defeat defeated the CHAMBER OF CORRUPTION. During the battle, Acindor (briefly a ghost as well) and he possessed their husks.

Afterward, they visited the SKY BAZAAR of SMUGGLER SPEAK as heroes. He and his party then entered the TEMPLE MINES to retrieve lost materials at the behest of the SKY BAZAAR merchants. Unfortunately,  the adventurers stepped into a fey ring leading to the ELDERWYLD.

Narrowly escaping being devoured by a house mimic, they exited the ELDERWYLD and found themselves in a quarantined section of FARRAGO’s CAERULEUM SECTOR. While there, they entered Oxenbane’s FIELD OF HONOR, where Thril was chosen as Oxenbane’s Champion in the forthcoming Gotternacht Games. They were able to escape the quarantined island of SAINT ALBANS by using the sewers.

Escaping into the subterranean CATACOMBS, they made their way to the CHAPEL OF WANJO and the above ground island of MIDDLEBOROUGH. Spying their faces on wanted posters, they tried to pass by unnoticed but were instead chased off the island by an angry mob of Redforges. On PEVENSIE ISLAND, they were ushered through a magical door to CLAW ISLAND by Fizzle the Fifth

After spending a night at the EXCELSIOR,  the adventurers made their way to the ROSE COLISEUM, where they met the god Gilgamesh and Gnome Shanarock the Dwarf Rogue, the chosen Champion of the Nylbolgia in the forthcoming Gotternacht Games.

Making their way to PEACOCK ISLAND on a quest to rid Nathan Garney of his assassin’s mark, the adventurers squared off against an orc warband called the Fearless in order to restore power to the PEACOCK ISLAND DOCKS and the tram up the mountains to Obscurus’ MANSION. Thril Wolfsbane was killed by the Fearless’ ettin champion during the fight.
